Shoulder Injuries
Injuries to the shoulder can include any of the following:
Strained muscles such as deltoid or rotator cuff
Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)
Sprained ligaments or injury to joint capsule
Scar tissue from chronic problems or previous surgery
Soft tissue work including Graston Technique®, massage, stretching/exercises coupled with chiropractic adjustments to the shoulder, neck and upper back may help to improve pain
free range of motion.
SYMPTOMS
Reduced range of motion
Pain
Weakness
Difficulty with normal activities of daily living such as getting dressed, exercise, or yard work
TREATMENT
Soft tissue work directed at breaking up adhesions, scar tissue, and improving blood flow
Chiropractic adjustments to the shoulder, neck, and upper back
Electrical stimulation and ultrasound
Therapeutic exercises
